About me
A wholehearted passion for the mountains!
After years spent roaming the Alpine peaks with my father Guido—whom I will never thank enough for introducing me to this extraordinary world—I received my technical training through the Alpine Club schools, eventually becoming an instructor back in 1994. Mountaineering, rock and ice climbing, ski touring, long treks… together with my adventure companions I have explored countless mountains across the globe.
Later in life, I decided that the mountains could become a profession as well, so I dedicated myself to preparing for the selection process to become a Mountain Leader through the Alpine Guides Association of Piedmont. After a demanding year of study and commitment, I passed the final exam and, with additional training modules, also obtained certification for snow-related activities, in accordance with the standards of the National Mountain Guides Association and the international organization UIMLA.
I live in the Aosta Valley, at the entrance of the beautiful and wild Valpelline, and I am an AMM/IML (International Mountain Leader) with "UVGAM", the Aosta Valley Mountain Guides Association.
For many years I have been guiding people to the summits of the Alps… people who, by the end of our excursions, have become above all FRIENDS, sharing with me this wonderful passion.
I look forward to meeting you!
